I love seeing all the cabs every time I come to New York. This was the view from my hotel room.

VIRGINIA + PATRICK CHARLESTOWN, MA http://www.rcmphotographyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=13 http://www.rcmphotographyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=13 Wed, 01 Jul 2009 17:50:00 GMT Connie, and I was honored beyond words to photograph her wedding to Patrick. This was a winter wedding at the Commandant House with a 1920s theme. Amazing details, props, balloons, fake mustaches. Real gramophone music playing during the ceremony. A photo booth for everyone to model their period mustaches, hats, and glasses. Lots of cool people, lots of fun.

Here is what Virginia wrote on my Facebook wall after she saw her pictures:

robert!!!!! you have such an incredible point of view, such a clever perspective- they are breathtaking. thank you so, so much. it was such a fun time to sit and look at the day we both worked so incredibly hard on, and to relive it and enjoy all the small details. i can't say thank you enough- they are gorgeous, gorgeous photographs and i could not be more thrilled. i am so lucky to know you. some of my favorites were the ones taken on the porch, with the charming blue lights in the background and the slow falling snow- beautiful. your lighting was impeccable through and through. did i say thank you already? thank you robert, a million times.

Connie delivered a beautiful toast.

Even when everyone's tired at the end of the evening, they still look glamorous.

What I love about intimate weddings -- things like having the first dance at the edge of the dining room and kitchen. And no less romantic for that.

And a garter toss to the one single bridesmaid.

TIFFANY + COLIN POST WEDDING SESSION http://www.rcmphotographyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=6 http://www.rcmphotographyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=6 Mon, 25 May 2009 14:36:00 GMT Mrs. Toucan of Weddingbee blog fame) and Colin decided they wanted to do a post wedding session roughly six months after their wedding. Even though they already had a lot of great images from their wedding, it was a lot of fun taking some photographs in a different location, and taking advantage of interesting lighting and backgrounds. But as always, it was Tiffany and Colin that made the pictures glow.

Lauren and John tore each and every invitation in the shape of the peaks of Vermont.

After the toasts, Lauren and John's friends led a lovely candle dedication.

Lauren's dogs were a part of the entire day, and were never far away.

Late in the evening, everything was laid out for a cookout complete with S'mores.
