Hello, I'm Robert Mirani, and thanks for visiting my blog! Feel free to look around and check out what I've been photographing recently. I have a studio in the South End of Boston, but work all over the country. If you're interested in learning more, you can call me at (617) 645-1030.
The sneak preview section above is a small selection of images from events or sessions that will soon be blogged. The blog posts themselves are of course more extensive. Enjoy! |

We took a walk from Central Park to the Times Square area for Emily and Bailes' engagement session in New York City.. Warm summer night, lots of people, lots of walking, lots of great light.
I love seeing all the cabs every time I come to New York. This was the view from my hotel room. |

Aug 22 | SUZANNE + DAVE: LEGO ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING |
Weddings |

| Suzanne and Dave are both Lego enthusiasts, and so it made perfect sense to have their engagement and wedding themed around Legos. We did the engagement at their home a few weeks before the wedding, and the wedding was an intimate backyard affair at Dave's mother's home. Guests at the wedding each assembled a piece of a Lego mosaic after the ceremony as part of the fun. |

Jul 28 | ROOPA + FORREST ENGAGEMENT SESSION |
Engagements |

| Roopa and Forrest had their first date at Fenway Park, so we took a walk around the neighborhood before a game to take some photos. |

| Forrest is a man of MANY expressions. |

Jul 01 | VIRGINIA + PATRICK CHARLESTOWN, MA |
Weddings |

Virginia is the sister of my good friend Connie, and I was honored beyond words to photograph her wedding to Patrick. This was a winter wedding at the Commandant House with a 1920s theme. Amazing details, props, balloons, fake mustaches. Real gramophone music playing during the ceremony. A photo booth for everyone to model their period mustaches, hats, and glasses. Lots of cool people, lots of fun.
Here is what Virginia wrote on my Facebook wall after she saw her pictures:
robert!!!!! you have such an incredible point of view, such a clever perspective- they are breathtaking. thank you so, so much. it was such a fun time to sit and look at the day we both worked so incredibly hard on, and to relive it and enjoy all the small details. i can't say thank you enough- they are gorgeous, gorgeous photographs and i could not be more thrilled. i am so lucky to know you. some of my favorites were the ones taken on the porch, with the charming blue lights in the background and the slow falling snow- beautiful. your lighting was impeccable through and through. did i say thank you already? thank you robert, a million times. |

| Connie delivered a beautiful toast. |

| Even when everyone's tired at the end of the evening, they still look glamorous. |
